What can never change, in writing.
STOKD has three kinds of rule. Some are code nobody can edit. A few can be changed by the admin key, and we list each one. The rest is the keeper: our engine, running off chain, doing the shopping. That part you trust us for, and every action it takes is a public transaction you can check.
Immutable · nobody can change these
| Rule | Where it is enforced |
|---|---|
| The trade fee is 3% on the curve | The STOKD pool config —. Meteora's bonding curve program has no instruction that edits a config. |
| The fee stays 3% after graduation | The same config sets the migrated pool's fee at 3%. Meteora's own operators keep admin powers over their pool program, as they do for every pool on it; STOKD holds none. |
| The fee goes to the engine's treasury | The config's fee claimer is —. Nobody else can claim it. |
| Supply is 1,000,000,000, forever | The mint authority is removed at creation. There is no mint function. |
| Metadata is frozen | The coin launches with no update authority. |
| Liquidity is locked for good at graduation | 100% of the migrated position is permanently locked. It can earn fees; it can never be withdrawn. |
| Bought assets leave only as Restocks | They sit in the distributor —, a program address. The program has no sweep, no withdrawal and no pause. |
| A Restock needs a holder at that moment | The delivery checks the recipient's STOKD account on chain: right mint, owned by the recipient, at least 10,000 STOKD. |
| Your shelf is yours alone | Only your wallet's signature can write your choice. |
| One Pick'em entry per wallet, before the lock | The entry is a program address derived from the round and your wallet. It refuses entries after the lock and below the floor. |
| Launches must pay through the engine | Registering a launch checks the pool's config names our treasury as fee claimer, and that the signer created the pool. |
| Certificate tiers are fixed | Receipt ×1.5 for 0.25 SOL (3,000), Share ×2 for 0.75 SOL (1,000), Bond ×3 for 2 SOL (250), Charter ×5 for 6 SOL (50). Prices, multipliers and supplies are constants in the program. |
| A certificate's price goes to the treasury, in the mint itself | The mint transfers the price to the treasury in the same transaction; the engine credits it to holders. |
| Certificates are real assets | Metaplex Core assets in the STOKD collection, owned by your wallet. The collection's authority is a program address; nobody can mint outside the program. |
| Only a certificate's holder sets its pick | The program reads the owner from the asset itself, so a sale on any marketplace moves the right with it. |
| Trench War reinforcements are burned | The program burns the STOKD from your account, signed by you, and adds it to this week's board. Nothing can unburn it. |
| Community shelves cap the builder's cut at 2% | Up to eight assets, weights summing to exactly 100%, cut at most 200 basis points. Only a Share or better can build one; whoever holds that certificate can edit it. |
| The coin is set once | set_mint can run one time. After that the program's coin cannot be swapped. |
Admin-controlled · listed in full
The admin key is —.
| Power | What it can and cannot do |
|---|---|
| Replace the keeper | Points deliveries at a new keeper key, for rotation or recovery. A keeper can only deliver to holders; it cannot withdraw. |
| Hand over the admin role | Moves this list of powers to another key. |
| Upgrade the program | The program is upgradeable by the deployer key so bugs can be fixed. Freezing it is a single public transaction, announced when made. |
| Point the certificates at a collection | Sets the collection and metadata address used for new certificates. It cannot touch existing ones or their counts. |
The admin cannot change the fee, move the treasury's claim right, touch the distributor's holdings, change anyone's shelf, or mint.
Keeper · run by us, off chain
The keeper is —. It signs every claim, buy, delivery and burn.
| Decision | How it is made today |
|---|---|
| When to run | Every 5 minutes. |
| The split | 80% holders, 10% buy and burn, 5% Pick'em pot, 5% gas and running costs. Launches: 80% their holders, 20% to us. |
| Who is a holder | A wallet (not a program address) holding 10,000 STOKD or more at the run. Pool vaults are excluded. |
| Your share | Pro rata to your balance at the run; ×1.25 weight on the week's featured shelf. |
| When a Restock lands | When your jar reaches $2 at the current SOL price. |
| What it buys | The next asset on your shelf, in rotation, or your single asset. Through Jupiter, 1.5% slippage cap, retried once at 3%. |
| New token accounts | A first Restock of an asset pays for your token account from your jar (about $0.40). |
| Certificates' share | Each certificate carries up to 250,000 STOKD of its holder's balance at its multiplier, highest tier first; the rest of the balance earns at ×1. A certificate's jar pays its current holder, in its own pick. |
| Featured shelf | The shelf with the most STOKD reinforced last week. If nobody reinforced, the week number's hash picks it. Riders fill at ×1.25. |
| Community shelves | Each Restock takes the next asset in the recipe, interleaved by weight over 20 slots. The builder's cut is credited to whoever holds the certificate. |
| Momentum | Rebuilt every Monday: the five xStocks with the highest return over the past seven days, from hourly Jupiter prices. |
| Pick'em | Round opens Monday 00:00 UTC, locks Wednesday 00:00, scored at the following Monday 00:00 with Jupiter prices. Top three: 50, 30, 20% of the pot, into their jars. |
| Stockback | Half the 0.5% platform fee, sent back in the stock you bought, after the engine verifies the swap on chain. |
If the keeper stops, nothing is lost: fees accrue in the pool until claimed, and bought assets stay in the distributor until delivered. If the keeper misbehaves, the worst it can do is deliver to the wrong holder, and every delivery is public.
